You should be able to find RM 5.0 Sp2 or Sp3 (recommend 3) on Powerlink under downloads, Replication manager.
If you see the base version and not the patches, then you need to email the powerlink support team to have this corrected in your profile. In the meantime I can ftp those patches to you if you like.
To answer your question about the clone No, it is a point in time when the clone syncronisation is completed and fractured. ie you run a job at 10:00 - sync takes 35mins - the clone looks like the production lun at 10:35.
If you did keep a clone syncornized to the production lun, you would cause mild to severe performance impact on the production lun.
