Very sorry for the delayed response. The snapshot is deleted on the Clariion when your replica expires or is deleted.
The sequence of events for snaps when using RM is the following
1) Create a clariion snap when running the job
2) When you mount the snap replica, RM will present and activiate the snap to the mount host.
3) You do whatever backup you like.
4) The RM mount job, depending on how it is configured in mount options will
either
a) unmount the replica after the backup completes
b) leave the replica mounted (snap stays active)
5) regardless of the mount options configured, but depending on your replica retention policy ;
time-based - your replica will expire in time - the snap is deleted
replica-based - when the maximum count of replicas is reached
the oldest replica (keep # replicas) will be deleted - the snap is deleted
Hope this helps
James.

Is the replica still mounted?
Do you enable the option to unmount the replica at the end of the job?
We cannot expire a mounted replica.

You need to click the unmount option in the Mount Tab in the job properties.
Also, to ensure the replica unmounts AFTER the backup completes, you need to kick off the backup job by using the post-mount or backup script option in the job properties.
Just FYI - all times are based on RM Server host time - so if you have different times, take this into consideration for your timings.
Thanks
