specifications gets disabled

Just recently (last 2 weeks) I noticed occassionally one or more of the specifications get disabled. I have no idea why this happens and I manually re-enable them again. Any ideas or insights are greatly appreciated!

Which version of RepliStor is this?

You can review the RepliStor Audit Log via eventvwr.msc to see if you can trace when this occurs.

There are no known issues of this kind.
Also ensure there are no Windows Scheduled Tasks running that would run a rep_srv cmd to disable the Spec's.

Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to confirm there is nothing in Replistor that does that. There are no scheduled tasks running anything as well. We are using version 6.2 SP2.

I did see the audit log and the time it occurs is doing work hours. I spoke with the administrators who have access and they said they didn't remote into the server. I wonder if someone else might have gotten access to the server to manually disable one/more specifications. Anyway, thanks for yoru confirmation and I will investigate.

Anyone with either a Domain or Local Admin account can access the RepliStor GUI by default. So anyone with thosse permissions "could" disable the Specs.

Did you check to see if the free space is being depleted causing RepliStor to stop ans start the rep_srv.exe service? Usuallly, it will restart which would only clear any queued file operations and then restart Mirroring but not a Sync. If the Specs are Enabled but out of Sync, that might be a possible cause.
