SQL Module Instance stuck in offline pending state
I am running W2K3SP1 Autostart/SE 5.2 SQL. I have attempted to bring the SQL Server Instance Online, however all my instance objects have started but my Instance Status states "online pending" for the primary server.
ex. all instance objects are green but my instance overall status is yellow.
At this point the module or resource group does not respond to the take offline command either.
The only thing I can think of doing is to stop monitering, then manually stopping each instance object then aborting the instance.
I would appreciate any insite to recover from this state in a smoother fashin.
