Wake On Lan not working on Optiplex GX150's and 240's
I have wake on lan turned on in bios but it still is not functional.
This is happening on all the GX150's and 240's. I have updated the drivers and
flashed the bios. I know there was an issue with the 3Com 3C90x cards several
years ago but I don't remember what it was.

I just ordered an Inspiron 6000 and I'm concerned about one thing... My old

S-Video problem suddenly
Hi, I have an s-video output on my laptop and an S-video input on my tv. I
hooked up the laptop to the tv-with an s-video cable and the audio wire (red
and white), however, I am only able to hear audio on my tv and no video or

SMI-S download gone?
What happened to the SMI-S download? I used to be able to search for
support by product and type in SMI to find it but now that search returns
nothing. I see Solutions Enabler was updated but the release notes didn't
mention anything about SMI-S.

I have a batch file that has previously worked perfectly with WinXP.
The line - rmdir C:\ filename /s now
returns the following error message -
"Invalid switch -/s"
/s IS a valid switch when used with rmdir. ̴

files have been purged.
I tried to manually purge the files/folders from the Windows Explorer
context menu, but I get and error.

Repairing O/S
My granddaughters Dell Inspiron 560 cannot install windows updates, it
is asking for the O/S installation disk to make a repair, unfortunately she has
trodden on making it unusable. Is there any way round this or do I have to
purchase a new installation disk?
