Hey Guys,
I have an Alienware aurora R3 with an intel i5 2300 (No ALX)

Strange noise
I've got a i8600 with 80GB Hitachi drive (the slow one!).
Recently I noticed that the drive was making a whirring noise every so
often (20 seconds). Its really irritating. Run Dell diagnosics which says

constant background noise
hear, almost constantly, a low background noise while using my laptop
(open box dell precision 7540, i9-9880H, 16 GB RAM, 512 SSD and 1 TB HDD). The

I had bought an Alienware Aurora R11, at first I was content with it,
until I started playing Final Fantasy XIV and realized how loud it became.

tower noise
After about 2 hours the tower starts a very loud whirring noise that seems to
come from the DVD bay. This noise starts of its own accord and is not a rsponse
to any particular software action. The only rememdy for now is to turn the

Aurora R11, replaced fans but still noisy, out of warranty
I should have sent my Aurora R11 back when it was still under warranty right away as I have had this crazy spinning up of the fan noise since I got it. I thought it was normal till a friend of mine came over and told me otherwise, but alas my warranty ended in August and Dell doesn't want to return
