Dell XPS 700 Motherboard Issue (DIMMs 1 & 3 don't work)
and the beep code, and based upon what I read
it seemed that I had a memory problem. At this point in time, all four DIMMs

My first purchase was for a 1-gig pc5300 DDR2 sodimm $74.00 which should be
your1st upgrade on the D620. 512Mb being shared with graphics simply isn't

Very disappointed with my XPS 710
it appears that this machine SHOULD be able to take faster
memory than what is originally installed.
The computer came with DDR2 PC5300 memory at 667Mhz. According to Dell
and Crucial, it can take DDR2 PC6400 memory at 800Mhz.
