I have the basic video card in my XPS 200 with a TV tuner. I bought an
ATI Radeon x700 to learn that it was too big and I need a smaller sized card.

Vostro 200 4GB Mem Limitation?
Specifications for the Vostro 200 listed in the manual say the maximum
memory for the machine is 4GB. There are 4 memory slots, each being able to
handle 512MB, 1GB or 2GB of memory. Why wouldn't this machine do 8GB if I stuck
2GB cards in each slot? Did Dell just stick a 4GB memory

Since purchasing a Vostro 200 desktop i've been plunged into a permanent

XPS 200 keeps going into power save mode
I'm having problems with XPS 200 desktop computer automatically
shutting down into the Power Save Mode after 5 mins. After I completely shut
the computer system down and reboot it, it works fine. This only happens when I
start up my computer when the computer has been cool for a while.

Vostro 200 power problem
Vostro 200 built in 2008 - two days ago it started shutting down
randomly - a hard shutdown, not a Windows shutdown. Thought it might be
overheating due to dust so we cleaned out the cpu thoroughly. Worked fine
