DVD-R Drives
Does Dell, or other manufacturer, make an internal DVD-R/RW burner that
will fit the Inspirion 8600?
My 8600 has an NEC 5100 DVD+R burner, but several folks at work have -R
drives and I'm sort of the lone wolf with the +R format.

I have a TEAC 616E burner drive and i have been burning dvd+r movies
successfully for a couple of weeks now. I recently purchased dvd-r and now my
drive won't read them. I was wondering if there is any way to get it to

I recently bought some dvd-r discs and to my delight i found out that
my dvd-rw doesn't write to them it only writes to dvd+r or dvd+rw, Just

my Sony DVD+-RW is ok with these:
read -> CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R

What is the difference in the disks mentioned in my subject line. Is
it just a play on words like the CD-R's for data and CD-R's for music? Or maybe
