Device discovery rule stuck

I've had a discovery rule that's never run and has been stuck on "preparing" for months, across reboots and upgrades. Edit/delete/run now, are greyed out. Any way to force delete this rule?

Restarting does nothing.

Hi, the SCG team would need need to know if it's Virtual Edition or Application Edition and see your logs. It is best to call in with your serivce tag I advise. Wish you a good one.

Hello, 

If your network range is large subnet, let it run

Please Reboot the SCG Virtual Appliance

This is the first recommended action from Dell engineering.

  • SSH into the appliance or use the VMware/Hyper‑V console.
  • Reboot normally (do not reset or redeploy unless necessary).

If the issue is continue Contact Dell Support with your Service Tag for deeper analysis.
