Migrating an existing ESRS Installation

We have an existing installation of ESRS on an old server that is going to be retired. I need to migrate this ESRS installation to a new server.

Can anyone suggest what is the best approach to doing this?

Where can I find the latest documentation and software for ESRS? I had a look around Powerlink but couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance.

Reinstalling the ESRS Gateway requires EMC involvement.  Open a service request to engage your local account team and they will assist you with this.  The software is not available for download but the local account team can provide the software.

One quick note about Powerlink -- we have launched a new online support site available at support.emc.com. This site includes enhanced search engine functionality. After logging in, just search for "ESRS" or "EMC Secure Remote Support" and you will be brought to the ESRS product page where all of the latest technical documentation is available.

    Hi,

I need to update ESRS 6.8 to 7.1. Can I only launch the .bin file on the existing version?

Where can I find a documentation?

    Hi Jose,

Were you able to finish the ESRS installation. I need to upgrade our policy manager from 6.8 to 7.1. We also need to integrate it with AD. What all is needed on Activity directory to proceed with the installation. Any idea whats the bind password its requesting during installation.

    Thanks,

    RJ
