server Tool Telnet

Team,

I installed SAM on RHEL5 and i am using Console on Windows7. when i invoke the telnet tool from global console, it does not work. Can somebody please share step by step procedure to perform in order for telnet tool to work for me.

Hi Faizan,

  1. Login to Global Administration console
  2. Go to Tools->Server Tools->Select Sample Telnet
  3. Enable that and in Program select ics-telnet.cmd or in linux .sh
  4. Click Apply,restart the SAM Service,Login and try again

Hi Shweta,

Find below the error which i am getting after invoking telnet tool from global console.

Hi Faizan,

I am aware of a similar issue with SAM 7.2 which was fixed post Patch 15.

What version of SAM are you using, if the issue still exist?
