"an error occurred while retrieving the list of mailbox folders"
Hello,
one of our custommers have EX and ES1 in co-existence.
Everything is working except when you use Web Search to find a message and restore it to specific folder it gives the error "an error occurred while retrieving the list of mailbox folders".
I tried to change ES1 user and group with maximum rights on exchange server but still no luck. The messages are archived in ES1.
This only happens when someone tries to use web search.
Ex nad ES1 are latest versions, Exchange is 2013.
Any ideas?

Problem is fixed. I just upgraded to latest version and all is OK.
Tha workaround if you don't want to upgrade is to run this against every Exchange Database:
Get-MailboxDatabase -identity "[mailbox database name]" | Add-ADPermission -user [username] -AccessRights GenericAll

Verify the Service Account has the ms-Exch-Store-Admin Permission

I would also verify permission are correct at each level in exchange, Org, Server, and DB.

Hi HITMAN, could you please tell me which version did you installed.
I am in a project implementing 7.2 and got this error message during a restore. We checked all the rights and it seems they are OK. We tested with GenericAll, and it worked. In the install guide only ReceiveAs is required.
The Exchange is 2010 SP3.
