Can not change archive folder path

We have SourceOne 6.5 SP1 with native archive installed. Now we need to change the path of the archive folders. But in the console the path can not be changed, as the field is grayed out. As of the admin guide this should be possible. Does anybody know how the folder path can be changed or why it is grayed out? Thanks, Urs

The path cannot be changed from the GUI after there is active data.

You will need to create another archive folder and redirect the archive activities there.

You can use the Web Search function to select the original folder and copy the data to the new archive folder.

Once that is complete you can delete the original folder.

I've created a new archive folder.

But instead of using SourceOne Search to copy the content, I've copied the archive folders physically with Winows Explorer and then ajusted the path to the new location in the database ES1Archive, table dbo.Volume, column CurrentUNCPath.

BTW, we're on 6.5 SP2
