From the Admin guide:
"EmailXtender Archive Edition (EXAE) contains a subset of the full
EmailXtender product functionality. Intended for the general
messaging market instead of regulated industries, EXAE archives
messages from Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino on a
scheduled basis (rather than in real time) in order to achieve storage
savings. You can also archive messages from UNIX sendmail using
the MilVault milter and archiver. EXAE is not designed for record
retention or archiving.
All mail data is captured and archived to the same EXAE cabinet and
folder. Rules and retention periods are not supported in EXAE."

Hello to all,

In fact the Admin Guide and Instal Guide is the same for both products. Can anybody explain what kind of changes exist in EXAE and EX. Or documentation which explain by examples what do EX have and EXAE have not.

Thanks a lot

Check out page 1-27 of the EX Admin Guide. This section explains in detail 'permitted' and 'non-permitted' functions. Hope this helps.
