Email Xtender Shortcut Problem

Hi,

Im getting error on the EX client that say's "the message selected is archived and shortcutted, and cannot currently be retrieved" when accessing shortcutted mails. An entry on the GetMsgFail.log say's
"********************************************************************************
Error retrieving archived message on Thursday, April 24, 2008 12:07:36
********************************************************************************
CExchShortcut: Cannot download message data.CExchShortcut: Error occurred/detected while parsing response. strResponse:

query page

Error occurred while unarchiving message. Error code: 0x5. Error description: Invalid procedure call or argument.

CExchShortcut: Cannot download message data.CExchShortcut: Cannot send http request."

I believe this is a permission issue but since i know not much on Exchange and Outlook, i dont where to look first.
Please Help!

Julius

There's a few kb articles that address this. Here's one:

Let me know if that helps.

Hello,

Is this error coming in OWA or Outlook ? If shortcuts are working in outlook but not in OWA then we need to check OWA configuration on Exchange but if you are facing this issue on client machine and its outlook 2007 please make sure you are at least on 4.70.2049 patch kit or 4.81.409(SP1) onwarads because to my understaning those are the only versions supported for outlook 2007 clients.

when you query http://emailxtender server/exshortcut/query.asp see if you get one line message. If that is the case then ASP pages are executing fine on EX you might want to check the possibilities we have discussed above.

Thanks,
Raj
