hello,

what happens when EX license server is not available anymore? which EX functionality stops working? and when?

for example, in EX install guide there is statement which says that you should install license server to cluster only if you are running DX Data manager in cluster. i have a customer who wants to run only EX in active/passive cluster for high-availability. and he is worried that non-clustered license server might be a single point of failure. is it?

There is a grace period (I believe to be 30 days) that will allow EX will continue to fully function if can't see the licence server. Our licence server runs on a separate box to the EX server and this gets rebooted periodically. When this happens, a popup message is displayed on the EX server console describing the grace period has begun.
