Hi,
Did you solve this? I´m experiencing the same problem while restoring emails or accessing shortcutted attachments.
I suspect this is because the customer changed the service account password (and I just retyped the password for all ES1 Services) but I´m not sure.

This problem was resolved by assigning correct permissions to the ES1 security group on the Exchange server. The ES1 server was unable to write back to the exchange database from which it was attempting to restore the original message to.
