Executable provided by EMC in the EmailXtender Install kit can be installed silently and there are different switches that you could use. Please reffer to ExInstallGuide.pdf which part of install kit your have downloaded. There is section on how to install search plug-in and different switches available for silent install or command line install.
Remember suppport will not work on MSI package but if you have problem with executable provided by EMC, support should be able to help you if its not working properly.
