Index DB Error
Has anyone seen this one before?
An invalid parameter was passed to the database function. (0x86040406) Unspecified error (0x80004005) [ExAsIdxObj.exe, IndexThread.cpp(313).IndexThread::IndexThread]
Containers are not closing and the Message Center is filling ...
S1 Server has been rebooted.
I can't do the SQL Server due to it's shared usage.

Hi Gary,
The error you mentioned could be seen when someone mistakenly renamed files in the SourceOne Index DropDir folder. Usually you are meant to see .XVLTS files in this format EmailVault_Index_Archive_201201_001.xvlts sometimes if due to any reason (so far only seen in human error condition) let us say that file is renamed to EmailVault_Index_Archive_201201.xvlt now index service is meant to process this file from dropdir but filename do not allow it to determine which index set for 201201 is meant to be used for processing the file.
You are going to need help from EMC support to analyze the files in question and determine the action plan.
