If you are running EmailXtract jobs to archive historical data then having multiple containers open is expected behaviour. If you are planning to run these jobs for a while I will suggest leaving these containers as it is because if you close these volumes next time EmailXtract jobs will run it will open new volumes.
As you might be aware that if no emails will go into those volumes for 5 days those volumes will close automatically, if you will be running EmailXtract jobs every 4 -5 days then counter will get reset as a messages will go to the volume and volume will stay open.
