Notes to Exchange Migration
Hi Guys,,
just wondering if anyone can shed some light on whats required to migrate exsting EX archives from Notes to Exchange. the notes to exchange migration has been done, there is a new EX server running that is configured for the exchange enviroment, and the existing EX server is still in place. Is it just a matter of importing the existing archives? is there anything special required for this?
or is there another way to do this?
thanks

I am not sure if there is such document or white paper that exists for this excercise. What I have heard is that EMC's Professional Services group has done such migrations successfully. EMC Professional Services is a consulting group and all of their services will come tagged with a charge.
One drawback in your configuration that I could think of is that how would you migrate data archived by purely EX for Notes server to Purely Ex for Exchange server ? Data is on the ONM format which is for Notes how would your new EX server read it ? That could have been only possible with mixes mode EX server. There could be other caviets to watch for, that is why I would suggest speaking to consulting groups who have done it successfully.
Thanks,
Rajan
