SEC audit

Say that I'm running EX 4.7 and get audited by the SEC. They want a copy of all e-mails (in a PST format, I'm guessing). Everything. How would I go about doing a bulk export when the total search results size would be well over the Search Options limits?

    How much data?
Click the export results check box in the search plugin to automatically create a PST. Use date ranges or distribution lists to break up the PSTs into more manageable chunks.

    Thanks for the reply.

About 40GB worth of user mailboxes. So I guess the best bet would be to do it by 6months or so at a time and just have 10-20 psts? I imagine that the SEC wouldn't want to deal w/ the entire EX database.

Yeah, or break it up by user. People generally like that option. Use the Mailbox button in the search tool to select a user.
