Shortcut restoration issue until new mailbox DB dismounted
Hello,
Since I’ve installed an Exchange 2010 in my domain, users hosted on the Exchange 2003 server have performance issues to restore shortcutted mails:
- It takes around 40 seconds to restore a mail in their inbox. By analyzing the network traffic on the EmailXtender server, I’ve noticed that MAPI traffic is send during the firsts 30 seconds to the Exchange 2010 server, and then only to the Exchange 2003 server.
- Mails in the Public Folders cannot be restored.
There are no error messages and the logs are clean.
The only solution I’ve found until now is to dismount the mailbox database and the public folder database on the Exchange 2010 server.
Does someone have an idea to solve that problem ?
Jeff

The installation of Exchange 2010 has created a connector between Exchange2003ServerNumber2 and Exchange 2010. But in EmailXtender Administrator, the Cabinet Email Connection Mailboxes pointed to Exchange2003ServerNumber1.
