when you provide the webservices server information and proceed with the setup. Setup will perform several checks on the webservices server. Checks will included ping for server existance and then lookup for essential files. I would suggest to gather installation logs for each component install that you are having trouble with and search for "EX_Chk_WebServer" in the logs. Analyze the data following "EX_Chk_WebServer" text.
Hi, I have met the same problem as what you said. But I didn't find the setting. Do you remember where I can set the security GPO for the IIS server ? Thanks a lot.

on Windows 2003 Server you can find install logs under "C:\Documents and Settings\ \Local Settings\Temp"
on WIndows 2008 Server you can find install logs under "C:\Users\ \AppData\Local\Temp"

Hello,
I haven't found any log of SourceOne Services on the folder you give to me.
But I have found the error, It's only IIS restrictions that block the deployement of both of this services.
Thanks for your help

Dear All,
I have found the settings that block the system at this step.
In the security GPO for the IIS server, the guest access was deny. After this little change the install works fine.
Sorry for the delay of my feed back .
Thanks for your help.

Hi Amaury Couffignal,
I am install the EMC SourceOne search and Mobile services, and get the same error as you met.
So I would like to confirm the IIS server you said is the web server? And how you do the little change? Thank you very much.
