SourceOne does not touch the user's mailbox
Hi All,
We have used LDAP filtering for define which mailboxes will be archived, and it is working fine. Except with single user, by some reason I cannot find any log entries for that user (instead of few logs when the user was attached as the archived mailbox). Last days, weeks there has been no log entries at all about that user. No errors, no successfull, nothing.
What would be the first place to check should this user to be archived? From the SQL perhaps? When I execute the LDAP filter on the Admin Console, I can find that user from the results. We tried to take this user away from the archive policies and then enable again, but no change.

Please! enable detailed logging for EMC SourceOne Archive activity. The option to enable detailed logging appears on the last page of the activity configuration called activity name page.
Once the activity is complete, please access the log by following the steps below:
(Information can also be found in EMC SourceOne Admin Guide under "Managing Jobs" section)

Hi Ibrahim,
Thank you for your reply, but I have had the detail logging enabled all the time, and still walking in a dark.
But based of my test:
Test 1: create new additional activity A to user who had troubles, but now based of the Address Book, not LDAP search, still failed
Test 2: create new additional activity B to user who had no troubles, but now based of the Address Book, not LDAP search, no troubles
So I'm pretty sure that user account/details in the database are incorrect somehow, but does anybody knows how to validate the users in the database? What kind SQL query I have to run to get my users listed from the database?

Hmm..
Can anybody found out a reason to this line on the worker's log:
|CExJBMBoxTasks::Run|ERROR_LOGD|Cannot read job information from database for job: 16777. (0x86040B09) [ExArchiveJBC.exe, CExJBMBoxTasks.cpp(372).CExJBMBoxTasks::GetMBoxTasksJobFromDB] |CExJBMBoxTasks.cpp(209)
I believe this will solve my issue.

Found the reason, ES1Active.datasources table contains multiple entries from the single user. When I removed dublications, the archive operation started successfully. The only question is, why therea re duplicates.
