Unable to write to the repository storage
I have 3 sites of SourceOne , the two remote sites Message center are located locally per each site , the main site Message Center data volume is huge , the Disk Space where the message center is configured get full and activity jobs fail, below are logs from Event log and the Activity log:
Reason: Unable to write to the repository storage. (0x86040F2A) (-2046554326) Source: Not assigned.
---
Disk space low: current = 5%, target > 20%, on \\Server01\s1mc$\Message_Center. (0x86042763) [ExAsArchive.exe, ExAsArchivePoll.cpp(1645).CExAsArchivePoll::CheckDiskFreeSpace]
--
System call failed. (0x86040100) The system call level is not correct. (0x8007007C) [SOFileArchiveJBC, ExDirectoryThread.cpp(6425).CExDirectoryThread::Run]
Any idea how to make Message center clean up the transmitted message to archive ?
Regards ,,
Ahmad

* You can lower the Volume Idle Time in the MessageCenter (defaults to 48 hours) to X hours.
* Enlarge the MSGdisk/drive
* Do you have any failing volumes which causes them to stay in the MCL location until the problem is fixed?
* If your MCL disk is very large, it can be useful to manually update the diskspace threshold in the database to a lower rate than 5%. (you'll need EMC Support SME to do this for you).
* Check if your Archive service is running and is actually processing data
But I question: how can you get that much data in your MCL?

Hello BenCs , pardon for delayed reply ,, our issue was identified , it back for two reasons:
- A failed one time activity left its data in the message center , so I will create another one but with schedule to release the processed files.
- Huge amount of data to be archived and 3 running in parallel Activities with one Worker server ,, most probably I will be adding another worker here.
Thanks for your feedback

Use the SourceOne Sizer to set the correct number of worker servers.
