No VMAX Connection Type
Hi,
I have installed the Storage Analytics adapter in vCOPs 5.8. When I go to create a new Adapter Instance I only have VNX Block, VNX File and VMware vSphere option. There is no VMAX or VPLEX option, what am I missing to get those options?

Ah that's the issue then. The 3.0 adapter is only supported with vROps 6.0 so you'll need to upgrade your vCOps 5.8 or you can request an older version of the adapter - 2.4 which still supports VMAX (though not VPLEX) but will work with your version of vCOps.

I download the adapter from VMware Solutions Exchange. The download was emc-vcops-adapter-3.0.0-build-34042.pak.

It sounds like you have an old version of the ESA adapter. Can you provide more detail about what you downloaded or received from support?

Perfect, that worked. I have used the 2.4.1 adapter and the options are there.
