Burning cd's

I have a demnesion 5150 and when I burned cd's  using cd-r's they worked fine on the computer but in my stero and walkman they are skipping.  Any ideas what to do?

    Try burning the CDRs at a slower speed.  Try one-fourth the maximum speed of the drive as a starting point.
