Error-Code 0F00:1344

Question

My computer shows a blue screen and the following error-code: 0F00:1344 Msg Block 179380 (uncorrectable data error or media is write protected) Is there a possibility to fix this problem? If I use the Windows Vista CD-Rom to fix the problem, I can start my notebook 2 or 3 times, then the same blue screen appears again!

The hard drive is failing - the fix is a new, replacement hard drive.

the same thing happened to me on my Insipron 5150 notebook. You can get a 2.5 inch 160 gb hard drive from circuit city at $99.99 from seagate which is an excellent company. The hard drive can not be fixed. A new one is required.
