How do you preform a Raid 0?

I'm not sure if I should be asking this question or not, however, I was thinking of performing a Raid 0 on my hard drive. The only problem is that I have no idea as to how to go about it. If anyone can tell me what to do I would really appreciate it.

Also, just for reference, I have two 250 GB external hard drives by Western Digital, so there is no need to worry about corruption of data since only files for video editing will be going on these two drives.

It is not possible to advise you without knowing what model system you have.

A Dimmesnion 4550. I also use a custom built system for reason's that are obviously apparant (better peformance). If you have any idea on how to set up raid 0 on either one, I would appreciate it. Bonus points if you have any details on how to set it up on my custom system since that sstem happens to be a powerhouse at the momment (Q6600, 4GB of RAM, PB5 Deluxe motherboard, 1 tb hard drive,  Raddeon 8800 GTX)..
