I have a dell 4600. My hd space is 40GB. I tunes has 15GB being used. I cannot figure out why I only have about 3GB free. I did disk cleanup and defrag. PLEASE HELP
Try reducing the space System Restore takes up. Open "System Properties" then click the "System Restore" Tab, adjust the "Disk Space to Use" settings to 4%.
Then turn off system restore by checking the box, reboot the system to erase the old system restore files. After this, uncheck "Turn Off System Restore" box and reboot the system. Open System Restore and create a restore point.
Note: Any 40gb hardrive, has a binary capacity of 37.25gb, not 40gb.
Bev.
