Clariion not getting fully discovered?

Hello PPL,

I have just added a Clariion to my ECC; however it shows only the SP information and the other informations like Raid groups, storage groups, etc is missing. When i check for this information with Navisphere I can see them.....Could anyone please help me with the problem?

P.S: There are two Clariions that are already working fine with ECC and the storage agents for Clariion are also installed and running fine.

You can either change the DCP to do a discovery now, or restart the CX agent. But I am pretty sure when you 1st add a clariion it will do a full discovery right away.

On discovery, review progress, does it say the CX was discovered properly?

Also try to create a storagegroup via ECC on the CX if this works then you know the CX was discovered properly. And you just need to wait for the discovery to finish.

It takes a while for everything to discover after you add it. How long ago did you discover it.

Hi, ECC 6.0 - Naviagent 6.0.0.435 - Navicli 6.26.0.2.24 (array is cx3-80 with flare 03.26.080.5.014). Trying to define a storage group from ecc gets "clariion xxx...xxx is currently not being managed by the storage agent for clariion"... I expected that though agent shows as active (agent is not on the machine whith ecc server), sol ena there are 6.5, mgl logs show errors but I am unable to identify the problem. I simply wanted to know if there was some stupid thing not clear documented on compat matrix or ig that I was missing. Most probably I'll open a sr.
