Unable to install host agent from ECC

Question

I was able to install master agent. But when tried to push agent install from ECC to a windows2003 box, it fails.

It fails when it tries to start the agent services. following are the MNR log. Any help would be appreciated.

also i have this additional entries in ctg.ini file which it was not on the other one which installed successfully. not sure if this helps

I checked and it has the entree for ip address of the ECC server. I was able to ping the ecc server from the host server. I have another machine which we have installed the host agent from ecc with out any problem. Any thing further I can check?

I uninstalled the master agent. reinstalled it and applied the patch. And the when I try to install the host agent, it fails the same way. It waits for agent to start and then it fails.

Thanks for your help. we were able to figure it out as it was a domain network issue. actually was not able to ping the local host. we added a registry entry and all is good now.
