Can you expand a concatonayed meta
Can you expand a concatonated meta device while protecting the data with a BCV?
I have done this many times before with striped metas but never a conactonated meta:

yes, you can simply add device. no worries............

Don't need a BCV for concat meta, simply add another device to the existing meta.

no worries, data will be intact. You just need to make sure the OS can take advantage of the new space, on Windows you would use diskpart to extend the partition.

Awesome, thank you.... so no worries of losing the existing data on the meta if it is concat.

Hi all ,
on the same note can the concat meta member sizes be different if yes has anyone done it or are actively doing it ? Any negatives ?

they can be. We are not doing it just because it can get confusing , especially if you need to do TimeFinder/SRDF operations.
