PPME Host Copy Migrations to VMAX
Hi Everyone,
I am doing a ppme migration from dmx to vmax. Our vmax has 2 engines and I don't know how many FA's need to be zoned to the hosts. Do I have to zone all 4 FA's from 4 Directors or just 2 FA's are fine? What are the precautions need to be taken for Cluster enviornment.

There is no such rule in PPME that you have to have equal number of target FA zoned to the host. The only thing you need to remember is more the number of paths, more is the performance.
In cluster environment, the passive node should be shutdown and migration should be done on the active node. For more details, check the PPME hostcopy white paper.
