Symcli command to reserve a device.

Question

i want to hide a device from symdev list -noport, I am not sure which command to reserve a device such that it doesn't show up in symdev list - noport. Thanks Regards Prawin

symconfigure -sid 1234 -file reserve.cmd reserve-owner 'abc' -comment 'xyz'-expire xx/xx/xxxx -enforce reserve.cmd: reserve dev I am not sure it is available or not  in noport list after reservation.

It worked but, it still shows up in the symdev -noport list.

-owner 'abc' -comment 'xyz' -expire xx/xx/xxxx -enforce give me the below error '-owner': Option is required in conjunction with the specified arguments. i hv used the below in the file. reserve dev 0b48 -owner 'moth' -comment 'redd' -expire 06/01/2010 -enforce

You could always map the device to an FA port that has VCM enabled...that's one way to get it off the -noport list ;-)
