What is wrong with this? symmir query

What is different about dev006 below? There are other dgs on this system and all Logical devs say N/A. I associated dev006 and dev001 and there was not change in the query output.

Thanks

What does the output look like when you run (query -att)?

query normally returs "the last attached device" as metioned above you may have STD shared among multiple copies..

This could be a few different things, and it may be dependent on how you are establishing your devices. Paired are the current BCV devices that have a relationship with that standard.

Based on your output, I am guessing that you have been swapping BCV devices in and out of your device group.

You may want to take a look at Primus emc92202.

If these devices are new, you will want to perform a full establish, which should then show the relationship in the query.

Why do some say N/A and why do some have the asterik next to them?

those query is host depedant and the host is not able to identify the "N/A" device a logical name. The asteric as mentioned on your post "(*): The paired BCV device is associated with this group."
