Windows 2008 running with 2000 and 2003

Question

I am trying to determine if I can run Windows 2000, 2003, and 2008 on the same fa ports. I know the SCSI3_persist_reserv needs to be set for 2008 but what about 2000, and 2003. We run windows fail over clusters here. I am not a windows technician but rather symmetrix.

And can someone explain to me how to use the SCSI3_persist_reserv? I"m told I can indeed run 2000,2003, and 2008 together with the exception of this SCSI3_persist_reserv bit. Thanks to anyone who can help.

if you run your config through E-Lab navigator you will see a section "port flags" or something like that. It will tell you what FA flags you need for your platform/application. There are certain flags that are needed for specific OSs/ cluster solutions, those can be set via hba_flag parameter during masking.
