Zoning FA to Hosts
Hello everyone!
My customer recently got two VMAX Boxes , and i need to zone them to two Hosts ; one is a ESX with two dual port HBA ; other is a Windows host with two HBA ports.
My question is -what should be my right approach given the FA ports available to me.
I have gone through the Doc in powerlink , also the notes in this forum on FA port zoning discussed earlier , but i am kind of in a confusion as to what the right method should be , there has been a lot different ways mentioned here , so i am baffeled now
Would be helpful if you guys can tell me the best practise i can zone the FA to my hosts ( i am new to VMAX) for HA .
Note : I 've two Brocade switches to zone to.
Plus, What is the SE ( 7G , 8G ) FA for ?
Thank you in advance .
