Automating Driver and Management Software Installs

Hey Every

I am new to the Dell world. For the past 10+ year I have worked with and for HP.

I have to build 10-20 Dell 1955 Blade Servers. We image all of our servers with Altiris so I need a easy/automated way to install Dell Drivers and Management Software on all these servers. With HP I would install Proliant Support Pack ( it would install everything from soup to nuts in about 5 minutes )

Does Dell have something equivalent? I would hate to manually install all drivers.

Is there a Windows Update like Dell website or ???

Thanks!!

If you install IT Assistant you can use the Bundle from the Repository and it works like the HPaq Support Pack and will update one or more machines to current. Not as easy since you have to setup a separate machine to be it assistant usually..It can be your workstation, but only if you have a zoom zoomer....The alternative is to download the current Dell SUU disk (DVD) and do each one individually. It will also update all Dell drivers and firmware to current.
I use the SUU when I am just doing day to day...
good luck..
