Cannot install Dell EMC OpenManage System Mgt Sofware. Error Code 1603

Hello,

Im running into the following code when attempting to install the  following upgrade patch to Dell EMC OpenManage Systems Management Software 9.3.0 (64-bit): 

Required Update patch:  SysMgmt_9302_x64_patch_A00_A00.msp

When attempting to install this patch to upgrade ell EMC OpenManage Systems Management Software 9.3.0, the patch immediately rolls back and I receive the following error message:

"The install package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer  package.

Additionally, I see the following error in the Servers Application Event log:

"Event Properties - Event 1024, MsInstaller

Product: Dell EMC OpenManage Systems Management Software (64-Bit) - Update 'Dell EMC OpenManage Systems Management Software (64-Bit)' could not be installed. Error code 1603. Windows Installer can create logs to help troubleshoot issues with installing software packages. Use the following link for instructions on turning on logging support: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=23127"

My reason for installing this patch is to resolve the following Tenable vulnerability:

Plug In ID 142596

Dell OpenManage Server Administrator Path Traversal (DSA-2020-172)

Medium

 

Has anyone seen this before or do you have a way to resolve? I also tried using MSIEXEC.exe to install but this only yields the same errors as above
