Critical error on client start

Question

Loaded server portion of manager on Win/2000 server. Loaded client on Win/XP professional. Network Mgr icon green and ready. Started client portion and signed in, getting a OWbowmapiexception failure creating new BOM session

MSG no 43 of com.dorado.core.bom

An error occured registering with the OWDatamanagerAPI.

Any ideas on how to correct this?

Do we get similar errors trying to run the client application from the system running the appserver, as well?

Please see the thread 'Install on Seeding Data' for information as to the location of the database logs, and post them here.  You may be having a very similar problem.  Also include information on the amount of RAM installed, size of the swap file, free disk space, and any memory-intensive programs that may be running on the box.
