Dell Open Manage - Compatibility Query

Hi,

First post here. I work for a large corporate company and I am the 'rookie' of the infrastructure department. The company I represent have approximately 500 sites of which approx 85% have Dell Power Edge 310 servers installed. We are looking at deploying Dell Open Manage through the estate to monitor server performance etc etc. I have been tasked to find out if we could use this software on other server brands, such as Fujitsu, HP and IBM.  At our Data Centre we employ HP servers. 

So my question is could we utilise Dell Open Manage on the other manufacturers servers? And could we use it with ILO? I am aware of the other Management software programs for the likes of HP etc etc, but as you can see I'm, to say the least, a little out of my depth. 

Any help/advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
