Dell OpenManagement Station installation - bypasing prerequisities check. Possible?

Hello,

is there any way to bypas checking for prerequisities check during installation of Dell OpenManagement Station (not main setup.exe but MgmtSt.msi located in "windows\ManagementStation"). When I try to select IT Assistant as a component for installation installer informs me that I didn't run prerequisites check.

Thanks

Thanks for posting!  It will tell you that the prerequisite checker has not been run, but you should be able to continue with the install from there.  I do recommend you run the prerequisite checker just to make sure you have everything you need.  At the very least make sure you have a default instance of SQL ready to go before you try to install ITA.

IT Assistans needs prerequisite checker to run before installation. If prerequisites checker has not been run setup will not allow to install IT Assistant but I've managed to "hack" this by copying files generated by prerequisities checker on 32bit system and copy them to TEMP directory :). But still I had to remove SQL 2008 express and install 2005 version (in prerequisities there is statement that I should have version newer than 7 or 8 so version 10 should be fine).
