Dell Repository Manager Server Update Utility (SUU) Plug-in not installing

Hi..

I am trying to create an SUU usb drive for my Dell server repository and each time I try to export my bundle, it says:

"The required plugin was not found"

"Click here to install the plugin"

I click the link to install and it starts downloading SUU_720.cab (240MB) (Have done this few time now) file and it confirms that it was downloaded successfully. But as soon as I click finish, it will pop up with an error saying:

"SUU directory creation failed with error, SUU plugin not available"

Although I just downloaded and installed the plugin!

And verified the cab file exists under: C:\Users\********\AppData\Local\RepositoryManager\Payloads

I have attached few screenshots below to show what I am referring to.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Thanks,

Hello themann

What version are you using? If you are not at version 1.5 then i would recommend updating to it.

http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/systems-management/w/wiki/1767.dell-repository-manager.aspx

The 7.2 cab was just released a few days ago, and this is the first I have heard of this issue. If we find that there is a compatibility problem with a specific version of repository manager, or an issue with the cab itself, then I will let our development team know. Please let me know the version you are using.

Thanks

Hello Everyone,

I have attached a screenshot of the problem I am experiencing with Dell Repository Manager.  It is complaining that it can't download a plug-in that it does not even tell me what this is!  Please, if anyone knows what the problem is I would very much like to know.

Thank you,

Mark.
