DSU 2.0.2.0 xml file not working
Hello
Was updating to latest DSU and now all my xml file for remote updates stopped working.
I then revert back to DSU 2.0.1.0 and after that xml files working again? Dell what has change in xml process?
I tried to check and compare the documentation between the version but could not find anything standing out that's changed.

Thanks for fast action on this! I can now see that download is working again. Also i did some own investigation about the config file and xml and i see that when specifying the "rSystemType" type the r need to be in non capital letter. That was an change in 2.0.2.0 update about this.
So to sum it up in the documentation in 2.0.1.0 it was = RSystemType
and now in 2.0.2.0 it should be changed to = rSystemType
So both problem solved now

I haven't heard of this yet. What kind of error did you get?
Do you have image of error or failure you see when using 2.0.2.0?

I get something similar at every site we have.

and at another unrelated site on an entirely different server:

Like Charles, I haven't heard of this. This might be just temporary. Would you please try another time (maybe over the weekend or early next week) and let us know if it's still the same?

Hello
The error i received was denied to login to idrac, but the same id and password work fine with a single cmd instead of using it in the xml file.
I tried to reinstall 2.0.2.0 and now i receive an "Unable to download the Index catalog. Check the network connection" so same error like BigTimeSecretUser

It could be a temporary issue, as Young E wrote, can you check it next week?

Yes i can check but don't you have any way of at least verify that its an problem? I don't have any running updates for this day or weekend but other company's might have and now that will be stopped but this "issue"?

I can reach the dell catalog "https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/Catalog.xml.gz "without no problem.
And ping is working.

They changed it to match the actual xml definition: https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/schema/config.xsd . look at the dsu docs on how to use this definition in your local dsu install. I have no idea why they don't supply that file with their dsu package, but I told them to start doing that
