finding correct oid's for server monitoring
Hello,
I'm looking for the oid's I can use to monitor the hardware of some Dell servers. I don't want to use any software, only the snmp agent and the oid's. I'm working with Nagios.
I would like to monitor the processor health, the hard disk drive health, the fan health or temperature (I found these two ones in cpqhlth.mib), RAID proper operating.
I have a hard time finding these ones and I could really use you help.
Thank you.

I found the documentation of DELL which tell all the possible OIDs. It's difficult to read but the main problem is that we don't have the detail of the possible answers to each OID. So how can we now if we check by Nagios an OID how to interpret the answer ??
I really need your help. The technicians of DELL helpline could not help me T_T

Thanks for posting! Look on support.dell.com in Drivers and Downloads under Systems Management. In there you can find Dell MIBs for PowerEdge, which is a file with all the MIBs in a format you can usually import into an SNMP monitoring program.
