iDRAC Firmware Update Never Uploads
I'm trying to update the firmware for my iDRAC8 Express using the Update and Rollback tool in the web interface. I've tried two approaches:
1. Upload the EXE
2. Extract the BIN and upload the firmimg.d7 (We run Linux exclusively)
In both cases the loading graphic appears and the upload progress reaches 99%. However, it will stay at 99% with the loading graphic until my session expires. The server was purchased in October and this is the first firmware update. This is our first exposure to iDRAC, we're trying to figure out if it's worth utilizing for our other servers.

Hello
If you encounter issues with one update method then try another. Also, if you have never performed updates or it has been a long time since updates have been performed then you may need to update through an operating system. I would try updating the system BIOS through the iDRAC using the 32-bit DUP. If that is successful then try the iDRAC again, if it is unsuccessful then update the system BIOS and iDRAC/LCC through the host OS.
Thanks

Working with Dell Support we reset the iDRAC card and tried again. After the second attempt it started working. This doesn't account for the behavior, but it has since been working fine. (I was able to stage a BIOS update afterwards)
