IT Assistant 7 & Java Plug-in Fatal Error - Windows XP SP2 - Removed all previous Java versions
I have major problems with the Java Runtime environment and IT Assistant 7.0
Disinstalled all previous Java versions, regclean the Java Keys, installed 1.5 , 1.5.0_02 , 1.5.0_03 ... no difference ... I get constantly:
The Java Runtime Environment cannot be loaded from <\bin\server\jvm.dll>
Deleted objects in IE6, tried numerous tricks > played with Java Console and runtime parameters etc. ... got it running for just a moment but it went bad again very soon.

I get this same error, though I have completely uninstalled all versions (including registry keys, folders, etc).
If I reboot, it will work once. After that, it will bomb every time.
It works fine in Firefox.
